About the Jacksonville Boating Team

Capt. Curtis Tucker and first mate Lupe "MaggiLu" Tucker are vocal advocates of the boating and watersports lifestyle for families.

Jacksonville Boating is an online, free boating & watersports magazine and marine directory with one goal in mind: to be a helpful part of the coastal community.

"For the boaters, by the boaters, of the boaters," is the approach we take towards bringing our readers clear, useful information that is easy to navigate.

When we moved to the First Coast area of Florida, we were eager to explore the St. Johns River and adjacent creeks, lakes and waterways. We found that Jacksonville and the First Coast have so much to offer in the way of boating, fishing, sailing, wakeboarding, windsurfing, kayaking, sight seeing, eco tours, etc. You name it, the St. Johns has it.

Jacksonville Boating is our effort to provide the place online where the marine community can connect, whether it is to find a slip for your boat, a fuel dock, a marine job or your next waterfront home, catch up on the local boating news, fishing reports, or just see the photos of life on the water.

We are dedicated to growing the marine industry and will be glad to help with any of your marine marketing needs. Jacksonville Boating is a great place to advertise your watersports or boating related business.

As boaters we have lived aboard our catamaran sailboat for 5 years with our four children, cruised offshore along the Eastern US, and enjoyed fishing in the bay with our Carolina Skiff. Both surfers and windsurfers, our family enjoys just about any watersport that we can squeeze into our busy schedule.

We also publish several other online boating & watersports magazines and directories:

We look forward to seeing you out on the water!
